Job summary

phs Group in Coleshill is seeking a Procurement Manager to own categories across cleaning, hygiene, washroom and related consumables. You will shape strategy, drive supplier performance and support commercial growth.

Working with Sales, Operations and Finance, you’ll lead sourcing activities and develop a Procurement Specialist to ensure effective day-to-day delivery and measurable cost savings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in procurement category management for cleaning, hygiene, washroom, janitorial consumables.
• Proven ability to deliver category strategies, value and cost savings.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience handling large supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies to improve commercial performance and supply resilience.
• Identify and capture cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and market insight.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and driving value across the supply chain.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, tenders and supplier evaluations.
• Manage product portfolio development, stock availability and category performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Sustainability and Finance to meet business objectives.
