Job summary

Senior Bird Bellows, based in Congleton, seeks a Pricing and Commercial Manager to drive profitability through pricing strategy and contract negotiations. You will influence customers, support bids and monitor market trends to optimise commercial outcomes.

The role requires strong stakeholder influence, financial acumen, and the ability to deliver pricing reviews and dashboard reporting. Travel occasionally and hybrid working are possible in this senior pricing role.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, contracts or commercial finance in a B2B environment with negotiation skills.
• Pricing activities including price reviews, margin analysis and price changes.
• Commercial contract review and negotiation including SLAs, rebates and tiered pricing.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and implement pricing activities including annual price changes and tiered structures.
• Influence customers to secure favorable contract terms aligning with objectives.
• Coordinate commercial initiatives and track benefits against expectations.
• Support bids and tenders with pricing input and bid data preparation.
• Conduct margin reviews to identify ways to increase gross margins.
• Collaborate with procurement to identify supplier opportunities to improve margins and manage risk.
• Monitor rebates and volume thresholds affecting pricing tiers.
• Gather market intelligence to support commercial decisions.
• Create and maintain a commercial dashboard to showcase performance.
• Report weekly on bid progress and portal reviews.
