Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a strategic, data‑driven professional to join the EMEA Strategy & Agenda team in the UK. You will support delivery of the existing portfolio during parental leave, while enabling new business priorities across global functions, analytics, and finance.

You will translate analytical outputs into clear business insights, coordinate cross‑functional activities and help executives with strategic reviews and communications.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in business, science, engineering, analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience leading programmes or significant cross-functional projects within a global organisation or complex business environment.
• Experience coordinating multicultural and geographically dispersed teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience turning data and analysis into business recommendations and management communications.
• Experience working across commercial, strategy, operations, supply chain, finance or analytics environments.
• Experience supporting executive reviews, strategic projects or business-planning activities.
• Strong data literacy and the ability to understand, interpret and communicate analytical outputs.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Word, SharePoint and project-management tools is desirable.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives and complex cross-functional programmes and projects.
• Coordinate internal and third-party resources to deliver agreed outcomes on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop clear project scopes, objectives, plans, milestones and governance with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies, resources, risks, issues, changes and decisions across assigned workstreams.
• Monitor performance, maintain project documentation and report or escalates to management as required.
• Support strategy deployment by driving key initiatives that contribute to sustainable business growth.
• Help maintain portfolio visibility, including progress, risks, dependencies, decisions and resource requirements.
• Support the Director Strategy & Agenda with programme management processes, tools and templates that enable regional and global collaboration
• Analyse and interpret data from multiple business sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate analytical outputs into clear business insights, recommendations and compelling narratives for business stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of business reviews, presentations, management updates and strategic discussions.
• Work with analytics, commercial, operations and finance teams to convert data into actionable business decisions.
