Job summary

Mace is seeking a PMO Planning Lead to head the planning team, manage the overall schedule, and ensure compliance with scheduling standards across AMP8 programs. You will lead scheduling governance, provide SME support to the Planning community, and coordinate with delivery partners and contractors.

The role requires extensive experience in schedule management within regulated, high-value projects. Strong leadership and delivery-focused mindset are essential, with hybrid working options

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in schedule management and track record in high value water projects or similar regulated environments.
• Experience leading planning teams and governance across multiple contractors/partners.

Responsibilities

• Establish performance baselines and reporting consistent with contract standards (e.g. EVM).
• Develop tools and processes for planning governance and standards.
• Provide SME leadership in Planning across the Anglian Water portfolio.
• Lead Scheduling community and stakeholders with clear direction.
• Implement IPC Framework with guidance and support.
• Recruitment and succession planning for Planning roles with the PDP.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
