Job summary

Rowett Research Institute is seeking a Strategic Planning and Projects Officer on a six-month basis to support the Directorate of Strategy, Planning and Data Insights. Based at the Old Aberdeen campus, you will help redesign and implement a university-wide strategic planning process and contribute to risk management and reputation initiatives.

• Educated to degree level.
• Ability to translate high level strategic objectives into operational actions.
• Strong writing and reporting skills for Senior Management and University Court.

Responsibilities

• Assist in redesigning and implementing a new institutional strategic planning process across Faculties and Directorates.
• Contribute to enhancing the University’s risk management function and strategic risk management arrangements.
• Manage strategic initiatives to improve league table performance and reputation, providing regular advice to senior colleagues.
