Job summary

University of Aberdeen is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to join the Transformation Office within the Directorate of Strategy, Planning and Data Insights. Based at Old Aberdeen, you will deliver project services across the university's change portfolio, supporting the Executive Board to drive strategic initiatives.

You will manage workstreams, contribute to Portfolio Management, and help advance project methodologies, tools and templates.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with strong experience in a project management role.
• Demonstrates strategic mindset and ability to translate objectives into tangible activities.
• Excellent writing skills for reports to senior boards and groups.
• Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project management and project-related services across institutional transformation programmes.
• Support senior management, sponsors and stakeholders with oversight and reporting.
• Manage workstreams within ongoing transformation to implement new operating model structures.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of project methodologies, tools and templates, and offer assurance services.
