Job summary

Knightwood Associates seeks an experienced Planning Manager in Cambridgeshire to guide residential and mixed-use development strategies. You will work with Land and Technical teams, manage planning applications and appeals, and liaise with Local Authorities and communities to secure consents efficiently.

The role requires RTPI/RICS membership (desirable) and a Planning or Surveying degree, with strong communication and public-speaking abilities to effectively represent the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential planning and development control.
• Strong communication and representation skills.
• Ability to work with Local Authorities, landowners and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Advise on planning strategy for residential and mixed-use schemes.
• Manage planning applications and appeals; oversee budgets and consultants.
• Coordinate with Land, Technical and Strategic Land teams and external bodies.
