Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is recruiting a Planning Lawyer (Associate/Managing Associate) for Manchester with hybrid working. You’ll handle planning and infrastructure matters on nationally significant projects, supporting DCO workstreams and client relationships.

The role requires 4–8 years PQE in Planning & Infrastructure Consenting, with exposure to major development, energy and utilities work. A collaborative national team offers leadership growth and client exposure.

Competenze

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 4–8 years’ PQE in Planning & Infrastructure Consenting.
• Significant experience advising on infrastructure, energy, utilities and/or major development projects.
• Experience advising on Development Consent Orders (DCOs), Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs) or other major regimes.
• Strong capability in town and country planning matters, highways law and infrastructure agreements.

Mansioni

• Advising on planning, infrastructure and highways law for major development, energy, transport and utilities projects.
• Supporting and, where appropriate, leading workstreams on DCOs for NSIPs and other regimes.
• Advising on compulsory purchase, land assembly, statutory powers and related implementation matters.
• Managing day-to-day client relationships, taking ownership of deliverables and project progression.
• Working with senior lawyers on nationally significant mandates and complex projects.
• Supervising junior team members and supporting their development.
• Developing expertise across front-end advisory work and related matters.
