Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Manchester seeks a solicitor qualified in England & Wales to join our national Planning & Infrastructure Consenting team. You will work on complex planning, regeneration and infrastructure matters across the UK, gaining exposure to strategic advisory, transactional and contentious work.

You will collaborate with leading partners and a diverse client base, from public bodies to private sector developers.

Qualifications

• Solicitor qualified in England & Wales (NQ–4 PQE).
• Strong grounding in town and country planning law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating planning agreements (Secs 106/278/38).

Responsibilities

• Advise on planning strategy for major development and infrastructure projects.
• Draft and negotiate planning and highways agreements.
• Support compulsory purchase promotion for local authorities.
• Advise on planning applications, development strategy and risk.
• Assist with planning appeals, judicial review and enforcement matters.
• Collaborate with clients and lead key workstreams under supervision.
