Job summary

Warwickshire College Group in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a proactive Work Experience Placement and Supported Internship Coordinator to build employer relationships and place SEND students with suitable work opportunities.

You will work with students, parents and tutors to identify aims, arrange travel training, track progress, and ensure paperwork and safeguarding compliance across placements and internships.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent.
• Good Level 2 education or above.
• IT literacy with email and standard software.
• Excellent admin and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of the commercial sector.
• Experience in a customer-focused role.
• Experience working with processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a broad base of employers to secure placements.
• Work with students, parents, tutors to identify work aspirations.
• Arrange and deliver travel training for work placements.
• Ensure paperwork, safeguarding and Health & Safety for placements.
• Provide support to placement providers and coordinate opportunities.
• Set targets for placements and monitor progress with the Job Coach.
• Provide guidance interviews and support to students.
• Maintain a database of suitable providers and input into CRM.
• Attend team meetings and partner with employers for events.
