Job summary

Warwick College Group seeks a Placement Co-ordinator to organise industry placements and work experiences for 16–18-year-olds. The role involves coordinating safety checks, recording details, and expanding the employer base across sites.

You will support placement providers, work with programme teams, and help students achieve successful placements. The role includes travel between sites and reporting to College leadership.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent.
• Working knowledge of IT including email, internet and software applications.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence without major endorsements and ability to travel between sites.
• Experience with Excel and the Grofar system.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to gain one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate industry placements and work experiences for 16–18-year-old students.
• Ensure health and safety checks are completed for each placement.
• Record placement details on the college system.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers for placements.
• Support providers and promote future placements.
• Work with study programme teams to ensure placements are undertaken.
• Advise students to achieve successful placements.
• Maintain a database of providers and input provider names.
• Provide regular reports to leadership and programme managers.
• Attend events to increase employer engagement and placement opportunities.
