Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a Senior Physical Security Adviser to support national infrastructure with SC clearance. The role combines hands-on security delivery with senior stakeholder engagement and leadership, including mentoring junior advisers and ensuring consistent risk assessment methodologies.

The successful candidate will lead site security surveys, conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, investigate incidents and provide expert guidance on CCTV, access control and perimeter protection.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance.
• Significant experience in physical security consultancy, protective security or security risk management.
• Hands-on experience with physical security risk assessments, site surveys and vulnerability reviews.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and reviewing outputs.
• Technical understanding of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead site security surveys and risk assessments across a complex infrastructure.
• Investigate security incidents and recommend mitigations.
• Provide specialist guidance on CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Mentor junior advisers and develop consistent methodologies.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and translate risk into actionable recommendations.
• Support governance, risk reporting and continuous improvement of physical security processes.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership across security advisory activities.
