Job summary

Newcastle City Council is seeking an experienced PFI Partnerships Manager to lead the Property PFI team and oversee the Council’s property-related PFI contracts. The role focuses on governance, performance, expiry preparation, and developing future property management arrangements to secure outcomes for services and communities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading property/PPF/PFI programmes.
• Strong governance and performance oversight capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Property PFI team and oversee management of property-related PFI contracts.
• Prepare for contract expiry and hand back; develop future property management arrangements.
• Provide specialist advice on PFI/PPP and property matters to senior leadership.
• Work with senior leaders, government departments, NHS, schools, academies and private sector partners.
• Drive delivery of complex programmes with lasting city-wide impact.
