Job summary

Hall & Kay Fire Engineering seeks a data-driven Financial Analyst to analyse financial and operational data and provide insights to drive profitability and efficiency. You will bridge finance, operations and business units, delivering actionable dashboards and reports.

The role requires 3-5 years in financial analysis, advanced Excel, and experience with BI tools. Collaboration across departments and strong presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in financial analysis, management accounting, business analysis, or commercial finance role
• Experience with large datasets and reporting systems
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Understanding of financial statements and cost analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports comparing results to budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards for stakeholders.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership to translate data into insights for non-financial audiences.
• Support business cases, pricing reviews, and client profitability assessments.
