Job summary

Carter Jonas in Peterborough is seeking a commercially minded People and Performance Manager to join our People team. You will play a key role in delivering the people strategy, supporting business performance and advising across a broad range of people matters.

This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, leading projects, coaching managers, and partnering with senior leaders to shape the future of our People function.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR experience with employee relations, policy application and process improvement.
• Sound knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and risk management.
• Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to deliver effective people solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of People Operations in delivering the Firm's people strategy and annual People plan.
• Lead, coach and support the People Administrator and People Advisor, ensuring a high-quality service.
• Partner with Managing Partners and line managers to provide practical, commercially focused people advice.
• Act as a trusted adviser on employee relations matters, managing a varied caseload.
• Coach and develop managers in performance, development, capability and change.
• Lead and contribute to projects that improve processes and the employee experience.
