Job summary

Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a values-led, not-for-profit organisation in Newton Abbot for a People Business Partner. The role reports to the Head of People and offers hybrid working with flexibility.

You will provide trusted HR guidance to managers, coach leaders, and help modernise the People function while line-managing a People Services Co-ordinator. CIPD Level 5 and progressing to Level 7 are preferred, with extensive UK HR experience.

Qualifications

• Substantial HR generalist experience at a comparable level.
• Strong employee relations advisory skills.
• Knowledge of UK employment law.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to managers across the organisation.
• Coach managers to take ownership of people responsibilities.
• Review processes, policies and systems to modernise the function.
• Line manage a People Advisor.
• Analyse people data and use HR analytics.
