Job summary

People's Partnership is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Crawley area to lead provider selection, RFPs and pitches for workplace pension schemes. You will coordinate with multiple internal teams to craft compelling solutions and win new business, while maintaining high-trust relationships with advisers and corporate partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace pensions and savings.
• Strong understanding of UK DC pensions and market dynamics.
• Proven track record in new business acquisition.
• Relationship management with EBCs and Cas.
• Strategic sales planning and execution.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new workplace pension schemes and assets.
• Build and maintain high-trust relationships with key Corporate Advisers and EBCs.
• Position The People’s Pension as the preferred provider through consistent, credible engagement.
• Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of sales, service, and marketing efforts.
• Represent the business externally at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility.
• Ensure new business is nurtured through open, transparent communication.
• Provide feedback from advisers and clients to inform proposition and service enhancements.
