Job summary

South West Community Chaplaincy is seeking an ambitious fundraiser to secure and grow corporate and major donor support for overseas projects. You will work closely with the CEO to develop new opportunities, deliver events, and create long-term giving and engagement across the UK.

The role requires travelling around the UK, confidence in building networks, and a passion for children’s rights to inspire involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience building excellent relationships and networks.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Good time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Able to travel around the UK to meet supporters.
• Empathy with project goals and ability to inspire support.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities to generate supporter income through businesses and schools.
• Organise and run fundraising events to secure new support and income.
• Develop engagement programmes with supporters to nurture relationships.
• Monitor progress against overseas project needs and report outcomes.
