Job summary

Portsmouth Water is seeking an Operations Transformation Programme Manager to lead strategic transformation across the Operations Directorate on a 3-year fixed term contract. You will drive operational excellence, efficiency, resilience and digital innovation while ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and business priorities.

This role will deliver the Operations Transformation Roadmap, manage multi-workstream programmes, and lead change management with strong governance and benefits

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of governance, assurance and risk management principles.
• Significant experience leading transformation, programme delivery or operational improvement within regulated environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream programmes with stakeholder management and benefits tracking.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence.
• Customer-focused and outcome-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of transformation programmes to time, cost and quality.
• Manage programme risks and dependencies.
• Develop and deliver the Operations Transformation Roadmap.
• Lead complex change and improvement programmes.
• Establish programme governance, reporting and benefits tracking.
• Drive process optimisation, standardisation and automation.
• Support adoption of digital and data-led solutions.
• Engage stakeholders and lead change management activities.
