Job summary

Cubis Systems & NAL is seeking an Operations Director – Network Access Products to lead end-to-end operations across UK & Ireland sites, including safety, quality, and manufacturing performance. The role reports to the Managing Director and drives strategy, capital investment, and continuous improvement across all locations, including Tallington and Lurgan.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality and manufacturing performance across locations.
• Design and implement an operations strategy aligned to business goals.
• Own full operational P&L, budgets and performance indicators.
• Act as strategic partner to MD and senior leadership on performance and investments.
• Ensure succession planning for key leadership roles and teams.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN/Six Sigma/ TPM tools.
• Oversee capital investment strategy with governance and ROI.
• Lead automation and digitalisation initiatives to boost safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Sales on operational initiatives.
• Support integration work during acquisitions and due diligence.
