Job summary

4Recruitment Services is assisting a North West London local authority in recruiting an experienced Office Relocation Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate relocations and office moves. You will provide workplace planning expertise, space utilisation analysis, occupancy planning, and CAD-based layout design to support the Corporate Landlord model.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in workplace planning, space utilisation, and accommodation planning within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience delivering office relocations, service moves, decants, and workplace reconfigurations.
• Ability to manage multiple move workstreams simultaneously and track milestones and risks.
• Experience in commissioning and managing external removals and logistics contractors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage communications during office moves.
• Expert knowledge of space planning principles and developing floor plans and move drawings.
• Ability to resolve issues pragmatically while balancing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate relocations, office moves, decants and reconfigurations across the Council’s estate.
• Procure and manage removals, storage contractors, acting as Intelligent Client for move-related services.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for furniture and equipment during transitions and update assets in systems.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR, Equality, and safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain workplace, occupancy, and accommodation records; contribute to service improvements.
• Collaborate across the Property & Corporate Landlord function and wider Council services.
