Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking an Organisational Development Consultant to join our newly established OD function. You will influence organisation-wide transformation, working with senior leaders and partners to turn ambition into practical, sustainable change.

You will help develop an OD framework, support prioritisation of major change, and embed a consistent leadership model while aligning structures and accountability across services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in organisational design and change programmes.
• Experience in public sector or large organisations preferred.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and work across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed a coherent corporate OD framework.
• Provide expert advice and hands-on support across a varied portfolio of activity.
• Support workforce planning, leadership models and performance management.
