Job summary

The Lead Costing and Productivity Accountant at BSW Hospitals Group will spearhead the costing framework across multiple Trusts, ensuring robust, auditable data for national returns and internal reporting. You will coordinate with Finance, Informatics, and clinical leaders to drive productivity analysis and benchmarking, and guide the use of costing data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Essential NHS costing experience including the National Cost Collection.
• Significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Group's costing framework across all organisations within the BSW Hospitals Group.
• Coordinate major costing programmes with Finance, Informatics, and external partners.
• Manage national costing submissions and develop costing systems and digital solutions.
• Ensure data flows, processes and reporting remain effective, resilient and auditable.
• Support productivity analysis and decision-making with robust costing insights.
