Job summary

BSW Hospitals Group is seeking a Lead Costing and Productivity Accountant to oversee costing strategy, service line reporting and benchmarking. You will influence senior managers and clinicians to use costing data for performance management and decision-making.

The role covers patient-level costing, national returns, and the development of robust costing information with strong governance and audit trails. A focus on data and digital tools, including Power BI, supports productivity opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with NHS costing, cost collection and productivity analysis.
• Proven ability to lead staff, set objectives and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Groups specialist lead for costing and develop the Group costing strategy.
• Lead a continuous improvement process for service line reporting and patient-level costing.
• Ensure group meets national cost collection deadlines and produces robust costing data.
• Promote use of costing data across the Group for decision making and cost improvement programmes.
