Job summary

Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP is looking for an experienced New BD Manager to join the New BD team. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing opportunities to win new work from existing clients and new prospects.

You will work with Sector Leaders, Business Group Heads and Client Partners to manage BD pipelines, translate market insight into targeted activity, and coach partners to pursue opportunities. This role also involves cross-border collaboration with the US and Lex Mundi network.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development within a B2B or professional services environment.
• Ability to identify and pursue opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a sales-driven culture to win profitable, high quality work from clients and prospects.
• Embed a pipeline management approach from identification to close with rigour.
• Coach Client Partners on sales efforts and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities.
• Establish Dynamics as a hub for sharing opportunity data and integrate with tools to improve data quality.
