Job summary

Qualified actuary with 3+ years post-qualification experience is essential. You will guide remedial actions and drive modelling practice alignment across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with at least three years’ broad post-qualification actuarial experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement, challenge methodologies and explain evidence-based views clearly.
• Experience leading complex technical work with governance, controls, documentation and testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled independent reviews of actuarial models
• Targeted reviews in response to business requests or major model change
• Monitoring and reviewing progress on remediation actions
• Develop and deliver model risk information for business leaders
• Identify recurring model risk themes and support governance initiatives
• Present findings to model owners and senior leaders
• Deputise for team lead and represent model risk team at forums
• Drive alignment of modelling practices and standards across the organisation
• Serve as a subject matter expert for model stakeholders
