Job summary

Emerald Group is seeking a Life Modelling Manager to lead actuarial modelling initiatives across London, Edinburgh or Leeds. The role requires extensive experience in modelling for life insurance and the ability to manage delivery for a small team, with a focus on automation and risk management.

You will bring a strong actuarial background, be a qualified actuary or equivalent, and contribute to reporting, pricing and regulatory activities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in actuarial modelling.
• Hands-on development, validation and/or implementation of actuarial models.
• Detailed knowledge of life insurance reporting, pricing or regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for yourself and up to 5 individuals.
• Drive developments of actuarial models and automation to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist with model validation or model risk management.
