Job summary

Alexander Dennis in Larbert is seeking a Material Planner to join the Procurement team. You will ensure materials are delivered on time, to the right quality, and within budget, in line with production schedules.

You will own material availability for assigned parts, manage purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and perform MRP actions to identify shortages and protect production plans while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP systems and supplier communications.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Pro-active, detail-focused planning with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage material availability for assigned parts and ensure it aligns with production schedules.
• Proactively manage purchase orders, supplier communications and MRP actions.
