Job summary

Alexander Dennis is seeking a Material Planner in Larbert to join the Procurement team. You will manage material availability, coordinates with suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery within quality and cost targets to support production schedules.

The role requires pro-active planning, strong attention to detail, and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Experience with MRP systems is expected; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are delivered on time and to the required quality and budget, aligned with production schedules.
• Own material availability for assigned parts; manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and MRP actions.
• Identify and resolve shortages, delivery discrepancies and supplier issues early to protect production plans.
