Job summary

BBC Group and Public Services is seeking a Commercial Procurement Manager for Marketing to join the Procurement team.

You will partner with stakeholders across the Customer Operating Group, from teams such as Marketing and Audiences, Media, the Licence Fee team plus our in-house Creative team to influence sourcing strategies, drive commercial value, and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes in a publicly regulated environment, ideally within marketing categories.
• Experience managing agency and supplier contracts, with a track record of driving commercial outcomes.
• Analytical skills to interpret spend data and market trends, providing actionable insights for marketing investment.
• Project management expertise to deliver complex procurement projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with marketing teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand objectives and align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Develop and deliver sourcing plans for media, creative, comms, digital, partnerships and sponsorship categories, ensuring value and compliance.
• Prepare strategic presentations and reports with spend insights and recommendations for stakeholder buy-in.
• Manage supplier relationships with agencies and partners, ensuring performance, innovation, and BBC standards.
• Lead procurement projects end-to-end, delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
