Job summary

The BBC Group and Public Services is seeking a Commercial Procurement Manager for Marketing to shape sourcing strategies and drive value across media, creative, and digital categories. You will partner with teams in Marketing, Audiences, and Licence Fee to ensure compliant, cost-effective investment in world-class campaigns.

You will build strategic procurement plans, manage supplier relationships, and deliver end-to-end projects with strong governance and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes in a publicly regulated environment, ideally marketing.
• Experience managing agency and supplier contracts with commercial outcomes.
• Analytical skills to interpret spend data and market trends.
• Project management expertise across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with marketing teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Develop and deliver sourcing plans for media, creative, comms, digital, partnerships and sponsorships.
• Prepare strategic presentations and reports with spend insights and recommendations.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and BBC standards.
• Lead procurement projects end-to-end, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
