Job summary

The BBC in London is seeking a Senior Procurement Business Partner to lead procurement across a broad portfolio within BBC Commercial. You will guide complex decisions, secure value from supplier spend, and manage a team delivering outcomes aligned with BBC objectives.

You will influence decisions at all levels, work across diverse areas, and develop your leadership and commercial expertise while driving tangible value for the BBC.

Qualifications

• Senior-mid level procurement experience with portfolio or category strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to balance cost, risk and priorities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience leading and developing a team, with coaching and feedback.
• Analytical skills using spend data and market insight to shape plans.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to translate strategy into a prioritised procurement plan.
• Lead complex sourcing, negotiations, renewals, renegotiations and exits.
• Own outcomes and benefits across the portfolio and track savings.
• Develop major category strategies and inform decisions with insights.
• Collaborate across functions to support compliant, risk-aware decisions.
• Lead, deploy and develop business partners and commercial colleagues.
• Manage performance and foster an inclusive team culture.
