Job summary

Benchmark Recruitment is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist to shape how the organisation positions itself in the market, communicate the value of its solutions and support growth.

Working with the Head of Marketing & Communications and stakeholders across the business, you will translate priorities into compelling campaigns and messaging, delivering across channels and driving demand generation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in integrated marketing, communications, brand or campaign delivery.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging messaging.
• Strong campaign planning, project management and organisational skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience across digital marketing channels, social media, CMS and marketing analytics.
• A commercially minded approach and an understanding of how marketing supports business growth.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a data-led approach to decision making.
• Experience within a technical, engineering, industrial or complex B2B environment would be advantageous, including account-based marketing, media relations, thought leadership and trade events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with commercial priorities.
• Create and deliver go-to-market strategies for key services, solutions and sectors.
• Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Support account-based marketing with business development and client-facing teams.
• Develop customer-focused messaging and value propositions for different stakeholder groups.
• Translate complex propositions into clear, engaging communications.
• Create and manage content plans across campaigns and channels.
• Produce high-quality content including case studies, thought leadership, sales materials and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and position senior leaders as credible industry voices.
• Plan and coordinate events, trade shows and exhibitions.
• Track and analyse campaign performance to improve effectiveness.
• Support budgeting and resource prioritisation to ensure value.
