J.P. Morgan in London seeks an Associate for the Securitized Products Group Market Risk team. You will partner with the trading desk to analyze portfolios, provide risk advisory, and ensure risk transparency to senior management and regulators.

You will build monitoring frameworks for global regions, understand product risks, and work with quantitative research, technology and control functions to strengthen risk controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of risk sensitivity, P&L explanations, VaR and stress tests.
• Good grasp of macroeconomic context and financial markets.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with trading and control functions.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Creative problem solving and clear recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Python or Tableau helpful.

Responsabilités

• Build an enhanced risk monitoring framework for Securitized Products across regions.
• Develop understanding of products traded and their key risks.
• Provide innovative risk solutions and elevate risk transparency with stakeholders.
• Analyze drivers of risk and P&L; monitor market movements and limits.
• Perform regular risk and scenario analyses; communicate findings.
• Review large/complex transactions and enforce controls.
• Prepare weekly risk reports and provide commentary.
• Collaborate with quantitative research, technology, middle office and risk reporting teams.
