Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team in the UK. This role goes beyond month-end, working with operational teams and 3PL partners to drive cost insight, challenge performance and identify efficiency opportunities.

You'll influence decisions with strong financial controls and data analysis. The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA or part-qualified credentials, solid management accounting experience, and

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
• Strong management accounting and commercial experience.
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience advantageous, not essential.
• Commercially curious with the confidence to challenge and ask why.
• Strong communication skills and able to explain Finance to non-finance teams.
• Process improvement mindset and high level of accountability.
• Advanced Excel and confident working with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets and insightful variance analysis
• Build strong relationships across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office
• Partner with operational teams and multiple 3PLs to understand performance and cost drivers
• Identify efficiencies, savings and process improvements
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
• Analyse large volumes of data and turn it into clear, actionable insight
• Support inter-departmental transfers, projects and wider Finance initiatives
