Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team in Cheshire. This on-site, permanent role offers long-term career growth and the chance to work closely with operational teams and 3PL providers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The role involves preparing accounts, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis, building relationships across functions, and driving cost-saving initiatives with strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
• Strong management accounting and commercial experience.
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience advantageous, not essential.
• Commercially curious with the confidence to challenge and ask why?
• Strong communication skills and able to explain Finance to non-finance teams
• Process improvement mindset and high level of accountability.
• Advanced Excel and confident working with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets and insightful variance analysis.

We're working with a high-profile, fast-paced UK business seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team.

This is more than a month-end role. You'll work closely with operational teams and 3PL providers, using financial insight to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
