Job summary

Lawhive is seeking a Management Accountant to support month‑end close and reporting for UK and US entities. You will work with the Senior Management Accountant to ensure accurate books, strengthen controls, and prepare for the first statutory audit in a fast‑growing, AI‑driven legal tech firm.

You’ll handle multi‑entity month‑end, intercompany activity and reconciliations, leveraging Xero or NetSuite, with opportunities to design scalable processes and own critical finance system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with professional credentials.
• Experience in month-end close and management accounts for multiple entities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Xero and/or NetSuite or equivalent GL systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close across UK and US entities with accurate reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity with reconciliations, accruals and intercompany activity.
• Implement scalable processes across payables, revenue, payroll and GL.
• Assist audit readiness and respond to auditor queries, strengthening controls.
• Collaborate with cross-entity teams to align reporting and compliance.
