Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar analytical finance role.
• Familiar with finance software and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of management reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modelling and data analysis capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow analysis.
• Deliver variance analysis with commentary on key drivers of performance.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet schedules.
• Ensure accurate monthly accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasts alongside FP&A.
• Analyse product/project margins and cost allocations.
• Assist with month-end close and audits as required.
• Improve reporting processes and finance system data integrity.
