Job summary

Bourne Education Trust in London boroughs (Richmond, Hammersmith and Fulham) seeks a Management Accountant to provide financial insights and leadership to the Trust and School Business Leaders, analysing data, preparing reports and offering actionable recommendations.

You will work with SBLs to prepare budgets and forecasts, identify risks, and support re-forecasting using budgeting software, contributing to strategic financial planning and school improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in interpreting financial reports and accounting information and identifying actions required.
• Experience of working in schools as a School Business Manager or similar role.
• Awareness and commitment to safeguarding of children.

Responsibilities

• Work with SBLs to prepare annual budgets and 3 year forecasts, collaborating with senior staff.
• Identify risks and report to Head of Management Accounts.
• Support SBLs with re-forecasting of budgets using budgeting software.
