Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a high-calibre Management Accountant in Dartford to provide financial insight and drive divisional performance. You will produce monthly management accounts, lead budgeting, and partner with senior stakeholders across business units and central finance.

The role offers exposure to Business Unit Directors, Central Finance, and Commercial and Operational teams, with a focus on asset controls and capital investment programmes.

Qualifications

• Commercial acumen across multiple disciplines and businesses.
• Strong financial and analytical skills are required.
• Experience in performance management, measurement and business case preparation.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely monthly management accounts for the division.
• Prepare monthly management account packs for Finance Leader review.
• Present divisional financials at monthly contract reviews.
• Business partnering with divisional leaders to drive performance.
• Lead budgeting and planning within the division.
• Promote financial controls and diligence across the business.
