Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a qualified Management Accountant in Stoke-on-Trent. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support financial management, accounting, and reporting with strong attention to detail and organisation. The role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and audits.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in finance, CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA, advanced Excel, and experience with fixed assets and CAPEX reporting. 37 hours weekly, £41,711–£45,091 DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in a finance environment.
• Fully qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA).
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and Capex reporting.
• High accuracy and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Maintain and utilise financial accounting software effectively.
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and analyse variances.
• Month end and year end accounting.
• VAT returns and financial reconciliations.
• Audit involvement (internal and external).
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls.
• Provide financial information to senior stakeholders.
