Job summary

Connells Group UK in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a 6 Month FTC. You will provide finance input to decisions, support Directors with accurate financial data, and oversee month-end processes.

Key duties include variance analysis, prepayments, accruals, commissions, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, budgets/forecasts, and year-end statutory work. A finalist in CIMA/ACCA or newly qualified is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end processes and tight deadlines.
• Qualified or finalist in CIMA/ACCA.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Analytical with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review branch results and highlight variances.
• Liaise with Directors to manage cost base.
• Process prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Calculate commissions and monthly accruals.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Assist with budgets/forecasts and year-end accounts.
• Intercompany transactions and year pay reviews.
