Job summary

NFP in the UK is seeking a Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support growth across UK operations. You will assist in financial reporting, business partnering, and continuous improvement, strengthening financial controls and delivering high-quality analyses.

The role focuses on month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and driving efficiency through automation and standardisation, collaborating with non-finance stakeholders to inform decision-making throughout the UK

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) with variance analysis and clear commentary.
• Lead month-end close activities ensuring deadlines, integrity, and completeness of reporting.
• Own bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and intercompany transactions.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting capabilities.
• Drive standardisation of finance processes across business units for consistency and scalability.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Build relationships with non-finance stakeholders to deliver actionable financial insights.
• Challenge stakeholders to improve financial performance and accountability.
• Support budgeting/forecasting with key driver analysis and variances.
• Collaborate with transactional finance teams and ensure alignment with controls.
• Lead group reconciliations and support head office reporting as needed.
• Oversee year-end audit processes and timely delivery of requirements.
• Support VAT and corporation tax processes where applicable.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives across systems, processes, and reporting.
