Job summary

Careerwebsite is hiring a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the growing Finance team in the UK and Ireland. You will aid in financial reporting, business partnering and continuous improvement across UK operations, strengthening financial control and delivering high-quality analysis for decision-making.

You will be responsible for reporting monthly management accounts, leading month-end close, and owning core finance processes including intercompany transactions,

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end processes and variance analysis.
• Continuous improvement mindset with automation and standardisation focus.

Responsibilities

• Report financial performance for your business line with monthly management accounts and clear variance commentary.
• Lead month-end close activities ensuring deadlines, integrity and completeness of reporting.
• Own key finance processes including bank reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure controls, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.
