Job summary

SBFM Ltd, based at our Head Office in Leeds, is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the Finance team. You will report to the Finance Director and contribute to accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and commercial insight across the business.

This hands-on role covers the full month-end cycle, with responsibilities across reporting, analysis and benchmarking. A fast-paced, growing, people-focused workplace awaits the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant professional status.
• Strong month-end reporting and management accounts experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end accounting process including journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Prepare financial reporting for banks and lenders.
• Monitor overhead spend vs budget and investigate variances.
• Support Board reporting with meaningful financial analysis.
