Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Corporate Business Development within the Global Strategy group to define and execute Johnson Controls’ long-term inorganic growth strategy across the EMEA region.

You will collaborate with business leaders and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop investment theses, and advance priority transactions, combining market insight and cross-functional coordination to create long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related field.
• Experience in management consulting, operations, strategic business development or similar with M&A exposure.
• Ability to analyze market trends, competition and growth opportunities.
• Experience in market assessment, segmentation and data-driven projections.
• Experience developing investment theses, business cases and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential acquisition opportunities through market research and internal engagement.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with strategic and financial goals.
• Monitor market trends, technologies, and competitor activity to inform the inorganic growth pipeline.
• Support due diligence, investment thesis development, business cases and executive presentations.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, entrepreneurs, investors and external advisors.
