Job summary

Veolia in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning and Development leader to design, implement, and oversee training programs. You will work with senior leadership to drive organisational development and lead Talent Programmes for Leadership and our Corporate business unit.

You will manage budgets and develop leadership content while ensuring program effectiveness. The role reports to the Head of Learning and Development with significant autonomy in design and implementation, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a learning and development role with Talent Programmes
• Excellent facilitation skills
• Experience with LMS/e-learning platforms
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities with SLT experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Desirable CIPD/ILM certifications
• Knowledge of change management and performance systems
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic L&D plans aligned with business objectives
• Manage and develop a team 1 L&D professional
• Create comprehensive learning strategies and manage training budgets
• Develop leadership programs and training content
• Evaluate program effectiveness and measure training outcomes
• Coordinate the delivery of UK Talent programmes
• Coordinate with Corporate business unit heads to identify training needs
• Ensure compliance with required certifications
