Job summary

GTC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employee Development Lead to join a complex, specialist organisation on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on developing people, capability and learning strategy, with hybrid working and 3 days on site at West Burton.

You will design, deliver and evaluate L&D programmes; conduct needs analysis; design career pathways; facilitate workshops and onboarding; manage the LMS; and work with cross-disciplinary teams to drive talent development and continuous

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, HR, Organisational Development, Education or related field.
• Proven experience designing and delivering L&D programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong workshop and training facilitation skills.
• Hands-on experience managing an LMS or digital learning platform.
• Experience conducting learning needs analysis and developing effective learning solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and use data to improve learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes.
• Conducting learning needs analysis and translating business requirements into effective development solutions.
• Designing career pathways and capability-building initiatives.
• Facilitating workshops, training sessions, onboarding and development interventions.
• Managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), including content, reporting and learner engagement.
• Working with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams to understand capability requirements.
• Supporting talent development and early careers initiatives.
• Using learning data and insight to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Managing learning and development projects from initial requirements through to implementation.
