South East Water in Maidstone is seeking a Strategic Leakage Engineer to turn raw leakage data into optimisation solutions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and analytics, partnering with hydraulic specialists to plan DMA meter replacements and lead capital schemes from paper to shovel.
The position requires a technically sharp, data-fluent engineer who can extract insights from Maximo and existing plans, communicating network changes to Operational teams and delivering projects
Summary: As our Strategic Leakage Engineer, you’ll tackle complex network challenges head-on, turning raw supply data into high-value optimisation solutions. Working at the intersection of engineering and analytics, you’ll partner with our hydraulic specialists to pinpoint inefficiencies, strategically plan DMA meter replacements, and lead capital schemes from paper to shovel. We’re looking for a technically sharp, data-fluent engineer who thrives on project delivery, someone who can dive into Maximo and as-laid plans, extract insights, and turn them into resilient infrastructure.

Compensation package: up to £40,000 p.a (dependent on experience)
