Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a strategic leader for Sustainable Products & Packaging Strategy in London. You will shape the approach to sustainable materials, focusing on resin, translating ambitions into actionable strategic choices and partnerships.

This role offers a hybrid work model with strong exposure to senior leadership. You will work across Sustainability, R&D, Procurement and Operations to ensure the strategy stays ambitious and credible, grounded in latest science and market

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in sustainability, sustainable materials, strategy, or related fields.
• Strong ability to influence and align across technical, commercial and sustainability functions.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading strategic work on sustainable materials and resin, translating ambitions into clear pathways and recommendations.
• Assessing trade-offs balancing environmental impact, technical feasibility, scalability, and business priorities.
• Developing recommendations for senior leaders on alternative feedstocks, recycling, mass balance, certification and materials circularity.
• Defining positions, standards, policies, and decision-making principles for sustainable materials.
• Collaborating with Sustainability, R&D, Procurement, Operations and other functions to drive progress.
• Monitoring developments across the materials value chain and seeking collaborative opportunities.
• Ensuring the materials strategy remains ambitious, credible and scientifically grounded.
• Building networks and partnerships to gain outside-in perspectives and accelerate progress.
